John's Goals:

• Establish a Bronx birth center to provide an alternative, culturally-sensitive setting for women to give birth, to contribute to the goal of eliminating the disparate rates of maternal morbidity and mortality experienced by Black women.

• Broaden the availability of fitness courts and exercise equipment in parks and other public spaces.

• Expand the Food Retail Expansion to Support Health (FRESH) program throughout The Bronx to increase access to healthy food options to all communities.

•  Ensure no one goes hungry by supporting and expanding meal home delivery services for those who are homebound through partnerships with local restaurants and supermarkets.
